Tandberg SLR data transfer and tape conversion

Tandberg SLR:

The SLR (Scalable Linear Recording) tape format is Tandberg's development of the earlier QIC (Quarter Inch Cartridge) magnetic tape data storage format. The tape medium itself is one quarter inch wide, and packaged in a plastic cartridge containing dual reels, and was initially 1020 feet long. Over the years Tandberg continued to bring out new drive models (SLR2, SLR3, SLR4, SLR5, SLR24, SLR32, SLR7, SLR40, SLR50, SLR60, SLR75, SLR100, & SLR140), with tape lengths eventually reaching 1670 feet, and native recording capacities ranging from 500MB to 70GB.

We convert SLR (SLR2-SLR140) tapes and transfer SLR back-up data to virtually any other media

Whether your SLR tape cartridges are in NTBACKUP, BackupExec, Arcserve, Netbackup, TAR, CPIO, VMS Backup, or some other format, we can transfer your data. We have SLR tape drives and servers running 24/7 with highly trained, motivated staff to oversee data conversion operations.
